PE backs up the Royal International Air Tattoo

Power Electrics recently supplied 50 generator sets and full fuel management - using its own tanker - to the Royal International Air Tattoo.

PE supplied 50 Generator sets rated from 15 kVA to 500 kVA to supply the power to Hospitality Chalets, Media Village, Engineering Ops, Pay booths, three Campsites Military, ATC, Staff plus Exhibitions stands.

Held annually at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, the Royal international Air Tattoo is the world's largest military air show and one of the UK's top outdoor family events.

With over 300+ aircraft participating each year, upwards of 167,000 visitors and support from the Royal Air Force and some of the world's leading aerospace companies a reliable power supply is vital.

The company also provided full fuel management over the 7 days using its own fuel tankers.

It supplied in excess of 40,000 litre gas oil (Red diesel) for generators and any other equipment that required fuel including the Aircraft Although aviation fuel used to power the Aircraft, the teams need small amounts of gas oil to create the smoke from the back of the jet engine during the display.

The quality of PE's generator service and support made it the ideal supplier for the event.

All the companies rental equipment is subject to a three year renewal policy (industry standard is five years) meaning it can offer an extremely modern super silent and reliable fleet.

It has its own satellite tracked transport and offers comprehensive 24/7 support.
