A Phi Group product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 22, 2005

Permacrib timber retaining walls, designed, supplied and built by Phi Group Limited was specified by the contractors for new World Headquarters in Scotland for one of the world's largest banks.

One of the world's largest banks has constructed its new World Headquarters in Scotland on the outskirts of Edinburgh and with over 3000 employees on the premises transportation is an important consideration.

The bank's facilities include a new decked car park and cycle way to enable safe pedestrian and cycle access to and from the site.

The contract for the cycleway was awarded to Crummock (Scotland) of Midlothian, of which an important part was the requirement for retaining walls.

A GBP100,000 contract for Permacrib timber retaining walls, designed, supplied and built by Phi Group Limited was specified by the contractors.

Phi Group was awarded the contract due to it's ability to design, supply and build the walls within budget, and meet a tight delivery time.

With the help of Phi Group and other suppliers and contractors the new headquarters are due to open six months early.

Phi Group really is a company you can bank on!.
