Engineers at Pick Everard have been awarded a four-year term commission from The Northern Joint Police Board to design mechanical and electrical services for all police buildings in the region.
Engineers at leading engineering, surveying and architectural practice Pick Everard have been awarded a four-year term commission from The Northern Joint Police Board to design mechanical and electrical services for all police buildings in the Northern region.
The commission will be shared with Wallace Whittle and Partners in Aberdeen.
The term commission runs from 2005 to 2009, with an option to be further extended to 2011 and will include both new buildings as well as the refurbishment of existing ones.
The Northern region includes Western Isles of Harris, Lewis, Benbecula, North and South Uist, Bara and Northern Isles, Orkney and Shetland.
Pick Everard has already started working on the refurbishment of two police stations in Glencoe and Strontian and on a brand new station in Kilmallie.
Pick Everard Associate Neil MacRae who is project managing the commission from Pick Everard's Inverness office comments, " We're delighted to have won this commission".
