Pick Everard new contract with National

National Grid Property has commissioned leading multidisciplinary practice Pick Everard to provide project management and technical consultancy services for its property portfolio throughout the UK.

National Grid Property (NGP), a subsidiary of National Grid plc, has commissioned leading multidisciplinary practice Pick Everard to provide project management and technical consultancy services to support the maintenance, operation and development of its property portfolio throughout the UK This will include preparing feasibility and option studies, the design, specification, procurement and project management of works, commercial management, technical inspections and advice, audits and reviews, statutory compliance and associated consultancy

The contract also includes procurement and project management of deconstruction of surplus buildings to allow NGP to develop or dispose of vacant sites.

In addition, Pick Everard will undertake localised work on behalf of building occupiers and assist NGP in its estate management by advising on landlord and tenant technical matters and preparing schedules of condition and dilapidation surveys.

The contract runs for three years, with options to extend by two 12-month periods and is a continuation of Pick Everard's work with NGP, with whom it has been working since 2001.

With regional offices across the UK, Pick Everard offers a broad range of expertise and the capacity for handling multidisciplinary projects.

The firm will supply all the support NGP requires including architecture, electrical, mechanical, structural and civil engineering, building and quantity surveying, health, safety and environmental management.
