Pick Everard in public sector agreement
Pick Everard has secured a place on the Buying Solutions Project Management and Full Design Team Services framework within the public sector.
Pick Everard has been appointed to the new four-year Framework Agreement, prequalifying them for work on property and construction projects across the public sector and for any publicly-funded work.
The multi-disciplinary practice is among just twelve UK firms which have secured a place on the framework, estimated to be worth some GBP750m.
Buying Solutions is an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in the Treasury and the national procurement partner for UK public services.
Its goal is to achieve savings for the taxpayer of GBP1b a year by 2010/11.
The new framework provides public sector customers with access to a full range of consultancy, project management, design and technical skills to help them with any property and construction need.
Specialist elements can be purchased in isolation or in any combination, according to what is required in delivering new build schemes, regeneration and major programmes of work.
Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE) partnership is a primary stakeholder in this framework, with 35 per cent of the estimated spend coming from IESE.
The partnership was established to help the southern region's 74 local authorities in their drive to increase efficiency and improve services.
Duncan Green, Partner at Pick Everard comments, "Our appointment recognises our continued drive for efficiency and Pick Everard's long history of working effectively in the public sector".
"The practice has been successfully delivering projects procured through the Buying Solutions Technical Assurance framework that provides early project development and management support for construction and property related schemes".
Chris Lane, Category Lead, Property Solutions comments, "Buying Solutions provides the procurement support and expertise that our customers in the public sector have come to expect".
"We are delighted that the suppliers to our new Project Management and Full Design Team Services collaborative framework agreement have satisfied the rigour and exacting demands of our assessment process".
"We have no doubt that they will provide excellent levels of support and value for money to our customers over the life of the framework agreement".
