Pickersgill-Kaye, will launch its latest lock at the prestigious Home Office Scientific Development Branch exhibition.

HOSDB Exhibition, 12 and 13 March 2008..RAF Halton, Stand No A12 Pickersgill-Kaye, a company which is fast becoming a prominent supplier in the design and supply of locks for the custodial sector, will launch its latest lock at the prestigious Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB) exhibition in March

The Leeds based company's Class 2 Mechanical Pass Lock will be on prominent display on stand A12 at the exhibition which is being held at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire.

This new lock means Pickersgill-Kaye, which is quickly becoming recognised as the UK's leader in design and manufacturing techniques for custodial locking solutions, is able to offer a complete commercial custodial package for new build and refurbishment projects across the UK and overseas.

Like all Pickersgill-Kaye's custodial locks, the Class 2 Pass Lock benefits from excellent design and construction.

Its external footprint matches existing UK cell door, pass door and lock box applications and its robust and reliable solid body construction adds to its security.

Amongst the other key features are a solid steel main bolt fitted with 2 hardened roller inserts, a sacrificial brass escutcheon and a cast stainless steel key cut to code.

Alongside the Class 2 Pass Lock Pickersgill-Kaye will also have on show many more of its latest developments which include locking solutions for a wide range of applications including one of its most recent innovations the exciting new Kaye interactive cell locking solution which is the outcome of a joint venture between Pickersgill-Kaye and Core System (NI) .

This next generation electronic cell management system uses Core's OneTouch software.

It has already created a lot of interest and was demonstrated before an invited audience at the end of 2007.
