Pickerings Lifts showcased in Scotland
Disabled access platform lift now plays a key role in the visitor centre at the Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye.
Three recent contracts to provide new lifts have highlighted the ability of Pickerings Lifts to design, manufacture and install lifts meeting individual client requirements, backed up by comprehensive maintenance and service support.
At the Lecht Ski Centre in the Highlands, for example, Pickerings has installed a passenger lift and discussions are underway to support this with a long-term maintenance contract.
In addition, a disabled access platform lift now plays a key role in the visitor centre at the Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye.
And finally, a similar A2 disabled access platform lift has been installed at the visitor centre at Crathes Castle in Banchory, Aberdeenshire.
"In each case, we are helping showcase the best of what Scotland has to offer to visitors from around the world," says Duncan Kane, regional sales manager for leading independent UK lift company, Pickerings Lifts and based at the company's regional support office in Glasgow.
"These developments reflect perfectly Pickerings' unrivalled ability to provide cradle-to-grave lift solutions," he believes.
"In providing a wide range of new lift products, we are able to respond to individual customer needs in meeting the demands of, say, the Disability Discrimination Act, and support this with a comprehensive service offering.
"In short," Kane concludes, "we can provide an appropriate one-stop-shop solution for any lift requirement.".
