Pickerings Lifts Supply Chain Maintenance Division

Pickerings Lifts has launched a new Supply Chain Maintenance Division, to provide specialist design, manufacture, installation and service support to the distribution industry.

Launch follows three-fold growth of doors and docks project in two years - bespoke design, installation and maintenance service for distribution industry.

For more than a decade, Pickerings Lifts has provided loading systems and doors to meet the needs of the supply chain market.

"From small beginnings, the project continued to build successfully in serving a growing market," confirms national customer support manager, Marcus Clissold.

"However, over the past two years, the business has trebled in size and now encompasses additional products and services, including access control solutions, fire control measures and installation of loading equipment".

Pickerings Lifts provides a wide range of loading solutions, up to 25 tonnes capacity, and addresses three distinct market opportunities: new installations; maintenance support for existing installations; and refurbishment and upgrades to meet the latest EU regulations.

"The new Supply Chain Maintenance Division represents an important milestone in the success of our company-wide business improvement programme," says Clissold.

"In delivering a uniquely-individualised, end-to-end service to the distribution market, the new division is backed up by national all-year-round 24/7 support through nine regional offices," he adds.

"At the same time, Pickerings Lifts can provide a complete one-company solution for all the customer's lift and access needs, including passenger and goods lifts and disabled access equipment.
