'Design Your Lift Online' at Pickerings Lifts
Pickerings Lifts launch new 'Design Your Lift Online' facility, targeted in particular at architects, designers and specifiers.
New functionality targets architects, designers and specifiers - site re-design and e-newsletter to help build closer customer relationships Stockton-on-Tees, 24 November 2008: Leading independent UK lift provider, Pickerings Lifts aims to build on its long-standing reputation for responding to its customers' needs with the launch of a more interactive, informative and intuitive website.
"This exciting new initiative, the 'Design Your Lift Online' facility, will enable visitors to the website to input their requirements, including the type and size of lift, together with other details such as desired finishes to floors, walls and mirrors, for example," explains marketing manager, Paul Robinson.
When the end-user is happy with how the result looks on screen, a copy of both the design and the related typical drawing will then be made available to them via a link that is emailed to them.
"This will not only provide a visual image of their desired requirements, but will also give designers and architects a typical drawing of their lift choice," he adds.
"Importantly, and unlike similar facilities previously available elsewhere, this design facility will be fast and responsive - giving the user exactly what they need, quickly and effectively".
At the same time, in getting closer to customers Pickerings has introduced an e-newsletter, designed to keep customers and prospects fully up-to-date with the latest news on Pickerings' lift and escalator products, changes in legislation and other matters of interest.
By registering their details on the site, users will be added to the e-newsletter list which means they will receive the newsletter quarterly.
The website will also feature examples of Pickerings' unique bespoke lift design facility, as well as its other services including specialist lift systems, modernisation and upgrade capability, supply chain maintenance, low carbon systems support, and their national service and maintenance network.
