Pilkington's Tiles Group, the leading UK manufacturer of ceramic tiles, recently launched the first of the innovative Capsule Collections.
Pilkington's Go Large With Debossed Collection
Pilkington's Go Large With Debossed Collection As the name suggests, the "Classics" collection, new from Pilkington's Tiles Ltd, epitomizes elegance and style.
Stucco features a satin glaze combined with a textured print, which provides sweeping gloss highlights across the tile, while Concrete features matt glazes over a finely textured, concrete-effect finish.
Both the Stucco and Concrete sub ranges include a natural white - Linen for Stucco and Mica for Concrete.
Other Stucco colours are Cotton - a warm grey, and Canvas - a smooth limestone.
Other Concrete colours are Silver - a contemporary grey, Copper - a rich chocolate, and Lead - a striking charcoal.
Silver, Copper and Lead reflect the continuing demand within ceramics and home furnishings for dramatic sleek browns and deeper, richer shades as high-fashion contrasts to the natural, minimalist lighter shades popular in interior design.
In addition, two of the 400x250mm tiles feature another first for the group - offset apertures cut into the tiles for added high design options.
Apertures can be filled with a choice of four highly-fashionable and decorative tile insert strips created from natural materials such as slate, glass, stone and metal.
A mosaic option is available as an alternative and ultra-modern insert.
Pilkington's is confident the launch of Mura, which is manufactured at its Manchester factory, will at least match the success of Strata which jumped into the group's Top 10 products by sales within its first year.
