Pilkington's Tiles Group is bringing a new focus to the building materials supply industry with the appointment of a dedicated national sales manager for builders' merchants Chris Wright's appointment is the first time Pilkington's has addressed this market separately from its specification, housebuilder and retail remits, and reflects the group's interest in furthering relationships with its various business partners

Pilkington's Tiles Group, the leading UK manufacturer of ceramic tiles, recently launched the first of the innovative Capsule Collections.
A sales person in the building industry for almost 20 years, Chris, 49, was most recently regional sales manager for a drainage products company but he has also worked in aggregate blocks, concrete products and industrial chemicals.
A member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, he intends to bring the same drive to the formation of this new sales focus for Pilkington's.
"The company is ensuring it leaves no stone unturned in its quest to provide the best possible service to all of its customers and I am looking forward to moving my focus from practical, external materials to aspirational, internal ones," he said.
