New products at Bathrooms and Kitchens Expo 2005.
Dozens of new products from the Pilkington's Tiles Group - as well as a completely new line - will showcase the company's new stand at Bathrooms and Kitchens Expo 2005.
Literally dozens of new products from the Pilkington's Tiles Group - as well as a completely new line - will showcase the company's new stand (D611) at Bathrooms and Kitchens Expo 2005.
The exhibition at Excel from May 8-10 will be the first under the group's new ownership and visitors will be left in no doubt it has "Every corner covered" and is already delivering on its unprecedented programme of new product development.
The new products showcasing the stand are drawn from each of the group's four brands - Pilkington's ceramic glazed wall and floor tiles, Dorset - Woolliscroft industrial, commercial and safety floor tiles, Quiligotti Flooring's porcelain, natural stone, "conglomerate" and Terrazzo flooring, and Quiligotti Contracting's access, hardwood and acoustic flooring.
These will be introduced in a new group catalogue that will be available at the show and featured in bathroom, kitchen and commercial settings on the stand that will show visitors how and where they can be used.
A library area of merchandising POS such as stands, boards and binders will also show comprehensive display support for customers.
The stand itself has also been designed with two tiers and at 105 sq m is larger than ever.
Combined with its prime location at entrance S1, visitors will be unable to resist a peek at the new-look Pilkington's.
New ceramic glazed wall tiles featuring on the stand include an extension to the Mura 400x250mm bathroom tile launched shortly after the group was acquired by Surface Coatings last year.
This is a Scored version of Concrete Mura that was launched with matt glazes over a finely textured, concrete-effect finish.
It will be accompanied at the show by Pilkington's new Esmirna bathroom wall tile as well as a number of new glazed wall and floor tiles.
Quiligotti's porcelain portfolio will showcase the just-launched Affori floor and wall tile that has been specifically designed to look as stunning on the wall as it does the floor.
Micronised, fine-powder processing has recreated the stone surface while providing all the performance benefits of quality porcelain.
Affori is available in five colours and four sizes as well as a decorative brick mosaic in 450x450mm and is soft to the touch due to a two-layer vitreous surface that is subtly reflective but non-absorbent.
This makes it ideal for bathrooms and kitchens as well as for creating natural-looking floors in front-of-house commercial applications such as hotels and offices.
Affori will be chaperoned at the show by the porcelain Portland range of wall and floor tiles as well as the Karra, Vari and Larino mingled and granite porcelain floor tiles and many others.
Quiligotti's new range of "conglomerate" floor tiles, that complement the group's market-dominating Terrazzo tiles but are resin-based as opposed to concrete, is versatile enough to be specified for worktops as well as walls and floors.
But it is Quiligotti's new natural stone collection - a complete departure for Pilkington's - that the group is most excited about.
These stunning tiles in sizes from 10x10cm to 60x40cm, including small and large mosaics, are available in slate, polished marble and granite, tumbled marble and travertine.
The Quiligotti range scores again with an extension to its Terrazzo product offering and the launch of a glass range of insert strips and tacos.
These have been launched to co-ordinate with the Dimensions Gloss White 400x250mm tile that has had perpendicular apertures cut into an edge so the 200mm strips can join one tile to another.
