Cool new brochure now available from Pilkington
The brochure will help customers select the right glass for each project by presenting clear and relevant information including details about the new solar control Pilkington Suncool HP range.
Pilkington has been responsible for many of the major innovations that have enabled glass to develop into a multi-functional modern building material.
To showcase the latest innovations, the company has designed a new brochure, which highlights its complete architectural product offering and specifically the recent additions to the new solar control Pilkington Suncool HP range.
The solar control range has been extended by the addition of three new high performance products; Pilkington Suncool HP Brilliant 30/17, ideal for atrium and overhead glazing, Pilkington Suncool HP Neutral 70/40, which offers superb neutrality, and Pilkington Suncool HP Brilliant Blue 50/27, which provides a distinctive blue colouration.
Each product combines excellent solar control properties including high light transmittance and low reflectance with thermal insulation to provide improved energy conservation.
In addition to the high performance solar control range, the latest solar control version of the groundbreaking Pilkington Activ self-cleaning glass, Pilkington Activ Suncool HP 70/40, will be detailed in the brochure.
The product offers exceptionally high light transmission with reduced total solar energy transmittance together with an attractive appearance.
In addition, it will also literally keep itself clean by harnessing the two natural elements of ultra violet light and rain.
The technology uses UV light to break down organic dirt deposits on the glass surface and then uses rain to wash the dirt away.
The aim of the brochure is to help customers to select the right glass for each project by presenting clear and relevant information about the products and their applications.
It demonstrates the effectiveness and adaptability of Pilkington's products and provides architects and specifiers with a useful point of reference.
