GBP17million development of 350 metre-long pier and terminal at Liverpool's historic docks owes its striking appearance to the Pilkington Planar frameless structural glazing system.
Liverpool is the European Capital of Culture 2008, a city famous for the Beatles and football, and now it has another talking point thanks to the construction of a 350 metre-long pier and terminal at its historic docks The terminal was officially opened by HRH the Duke of Kent as the QE2 made its 40th birthday visit to the city, and is an impressive welcome for some of the world's largest cruise liners
