Direct Trade makes Pilkington WER upgrade
Direct Trade is offering Pilkington Energikare with a Window Energy Rating (WER) of B as standard on two of its systems.
Direct Trade has upgraded its standard energy efficient offering to help its customers add value to their windows and save householders energy and money off fuel bills.
Pilkington Energikare allows more heat and light in from the sun, making a positive contribution to a home's energy requirements.
The upgrade comes less than 18 months after parterning with Pilkington Energikare.
Pilkington Energikare is a range of energy efficient glazing and combines two Pilkington products; Pilkington Optiwhite and Pilkington K Glass.
Pilkington Energikare allows more heat and light in from the sun, making a positive contribution to a home's energy requirements.
Pilkington has estimated that if every household in the UK replaced their glazing with Pilkington Energikare, more than 20 years the nation would save 234 million tonnes of CO2 and GBP149 billion off their fuel bills.
