Connaught Windows is now a Pilkington Energikare partner, highlighting its support of Window Energy ratings (WERs) and its forward-thinking attitude towards energy efficiency.
Connaught has had to take steps to ensure it is ready for the upcoming changes to Part L of the building regulations.
Connaught Windows is now a partner of Pilkington Energikare from Pilkington Building Products
Pilkington Energikare combines two leading Pilkington products, Pilkington Optiwhite and Pilkington K Glass OW.
The system can reduce net heat loss from windows by up to 90 per cent, when upgrading from single glazing.
Pilkington Energikare allows in more heat and light from the sun, contributing positively to a home's energy requirements.
The full range of window energy ratings can be achieved in most window systems with Pilkington Energikare.
