Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 17, 2006

Polaron is taking the opportunity to highlight its position as a market leader and one of the few profitable companies in the growing lighting controls sector.

Following the news that Strand Lighting has gone into administration, Polaron is taking the opportunity to highlight its position as a market leader and one of the few profitable companies in the growing lighting controls sector.

Polaron has been expanding both organically and through the acquisition of complementary businesses such as Zero 88 and iLight over the last few years.

Zero 88's product ranges cover theatrical lighting control whilst iLight covers the architectural lighting control market.

"We would be delighted to demonstrate to any Strand customer the benefits of using Zero 88 and iLight equipment, and our sales and technical teams are ready to be of service," said Joe Stelzer, CEO of Polaron plc.

As well as the theatrical and architectural lighting sectors, Polaron's products cover the complete range of intelligent lighting controls from home automation through to commercial applications.
