New drinking fountain supplied by Pland Stainless for members of Thirsk and Northallerton Golf Course.

In an effort to provide its members with the best chance of improving their game and to replace an existing outdated drinking fountain on the ninth green, the golf course decided to choose the latest model from Pland Stainless.

It is now providing members with a welcome and refreshing drink on their way to a perfect round.

The new drinking fountain on the 'ninth' replaced an existing valve operated fountain that the management considered was outdated.

Pland Stainless' new drinking fountain has been mounted in a beautiful stone surround.

It features a push-button valve assembly for ease of use and the fountain has a bubbler head with integral laminar flow which prevents splashing and provides a superior flow pattern, allowing for much more comfortable drinking by users.

The shielded angled water stream opening avoids users making direct contact with the bubbler head, which maintains overall hygiene and cleanliness.

A spokesperson from the golf course commented: "We looked at all the different systems on the market, but felt that Pland Stainless offered the best quality as well as most practical option".
