Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team May 18, 2007

New appointments at P4, the UK's leading independent producer of self-testing emergency lighting products under the FASTEL brand.

Rob Warner, previously Technical Director, becomes Managing Director, taking over from Peter Warner who becomes Chief Executive.

Rob has spent much of his working life in emergency lighting after joining from the automotive industry.

John Williams has been promoted from Sales Manager to Sales Director.

John, a former electrical contractor, has spent the past 25 years working for a number of market leading companies in the fire safety and lighting industries.

Alan Daniels joins the company as Business Development Manager, responsible for marketing, training and expanding the company's product and business portfolio.

Alan is very well known in the emergency lighting industry for his technical knowledge.

"We now have a strong team to equip us for a variety of opportunities strengthened by recent legislation and tighter regulations," says Rob Warner.

"We believe that we are the only independent company that can offer a complete range of remote monitoring products - and more effective maintenance management- in stand alone, addressable, and LAN versions." Andrew Lane, founder of market leading sign manufacturer Lumasign, has also joined the company in order to form a new specialist signs division, which will continue to use the Lumasign name.
