New design software for playgrounds

Playworld Systems Europe has just launched a new playground design software package which will be a useful tool to Pathfinder and Playbuilder local authorities.

Software package for local authorities that have been awarded funding to rebuild and renew play areas under the government's 'Children's Plan'.

The 'LUCI' software package is the first of its kind and provides the customer with a vast array of tools for designing playground schemes.

It allows the user to put creative ideas into a visual context making recreation design work simple, fast and lucid, with the capability to manage design work, make quick colour changes and the ability to facilitate component swaps.

For more urban developments, Playworld also has a skate-park design package called Woodward Action Park Designer.

Again, this package is easy to use with drag and drop facilities, rotating 3-D modelling, a virtual skateboarder 'ride mode' and instant project costing based on your selected design scheme.
