Panel Projects pending launch of its SIPs system took a step closer following Zurich Insurances approval for residential use.

Further approval in the form of BREs new 'System Build Standard' is being sought following plans to take the product to market in the first half of 2005.

The 'System Build Standard' will confirm the SIPs range as insurable and mortgageable on normal terms ensuring NHBC warranties.

Plans to develop and launch the companies innovative Rainscreen system 'Cascade' are also gathering momentum.

Following lengthy consultation with a number of the Uks leading Architectural practices Panel Projects are confident of launching a truly innovative system.

Cascade is unique in its ability to accept any laminated facing providing architects and design build contractors with an extensive range of external finish for any building type.

Launch is expected in late 2005.
