Phoenix Contact's brochure "Quint Power - Power Supplies for Maximum System Availability" provides a detailed introduction to the new power supply units for switching cabinets.
The eight-page booklet describes the units' dynamic power reserve concept, which is based on SFB (Selective Fuse Breaking) technology.
Standard circuit breakers can be triggered quickly and reliably with six-fold nominal currents lasting for 12 ms.
The faulty current path is switched off, while the crucial components of the system remain operational.
The benefits of the power supply unit's technical design are described in a comprehensive diagram - they include worldwide usability thanks to wide range inputs, preventive function monitoring thanks to continuous output current/voltage monitoring, and a buffered Power Boost reserve for starting heavy loads.
The technical specifications of the single-phase and three-phase products are provided on a double page.
