Polytech launches Poly GRC for
industrial drainage
Surface drainage specialist, Polytech, has launched Poly GRC, a new glass reinforced concrete channel system that offers a robust alternative to traditional polymer concrete.
Poly GRC is ideal for heavily loaded industrial drainage applications, where channel installation is often a phased process Its superior strength offers greater resistance to breakages than can be achieved with a standard polymer concrete product, and also gives the installer an increased degree of tolerance, as the units are able to withstand higher levels of impact

While much stronger than polymer concrete, it remains a cost effective choice, especially as the channel replacement rate will be significantly reduced'.
A choice of systems is available, spanning the full range of load classes, from A15kn-F900kn.
Poly GRC-G100 is a galvanised edge channel and grating system, with an internal width of 100mm and depths ranging from 160mm to 210mm.
The GRC-D channel and grating system has a ductile edge and is supplied with standard internal widths ranging from 100mm to 300mm and depths from 160mm to 400mm.
