Poly-Supreme for heavy duty surface drainage

A Polytech Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 9, 2008

Polytech has launched Poly-Supreme, a new range of high strength polymer concrete drainage systems designed to withstand heavy loads imposed by heavy industrial vehicles.

Poly-Supreme (PS) combines a non-porous polymer concrete construction with smooth internal surfaces to deliver optimum hydraulic performance whilst minimising system size.

Considerably lighter than traditional concrete products, Poly-Supreme is easy to install and handle on-site.

Moreover, the system maintains performance over time as the polymer concrete is very resistant to frost and road salts and offers superior chemical resistance.

Key to the Poly-Supreme range is a unique Profix boltless grating.

This feature allows easy access at any point along the drainage channel, making maintenance easier as gratings are simply locked into place and levered out at the joint.

Guaranteed to be secure, the gratings cannot be displaced by vehicular forces which is an important factor for industrial areas.

Mick Hardisty, Business Manager, Polytech, comments: "The features of Poly-Supreme effectively combine to deliver a system that is both safe and convenient to use".

"Developed specifically for heavy industrial use, it delivers a superior drainage solution that is cost effective to purchase, install and maintain".

Designed to cope with continual heavy traffic, the PS range has been tested to the loading requirements set by the European Standard EN1433 and is suitable for load classes A15kn to F900kn, making it ideal for loading areas and airports.

Supplied in standard lengths of 1000mm, Poly-Supreme is available in internal widths of 100, 150, 200, 300 and 400mm and in depths ranging from 150 to 490mm.

Poly-Supreme is also available in gradient, flat or stepped fall units.
