IP in Security Awards
The IP in Security Awards are bestowed for innovative new products designed by security industry manufacturers.
In recognition of Pointer's position as one of the leading integrators of IP security solutions, IP Solutions Manager Hayley Winney was called upon to be one of four judges of the prestigious IP in Security Awards at IIPSEC 2007.
The IP in Security Awards are bestowed for innovative new products designed by security industry manufacturers.
To be invited to judge such a prestigious award, Pointer have clearly shown that we are at the forefront of the new breed of security integrators, whose skills template combines both security and IT expertise.
Hayley Winney is a perfect example of the new breed of security professional; her background has been at leading IP innovators Indigo Vision and she also spent two years with Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer.
Two years ago, Hayley was integrated into the existing Pointer Project Management team in order to ensure that Pointer further strengthened our position as a leading provider of IP solutions.
During her time at Pointer, she has become a trusted industry spokesperson on the subject of IP and regularly speaks at educational Pointer events which are organised for their customer base.
The IP in Security Award ceremony was held at the Royal Court Hotel, Coventry.
Five finalists and an overall winner were judged from three key categories: Best IP Hardware, Best IP Software and Best IP Application.
The winner from each category then went forward to be judged for the overall IP in Security Innovation Award - which was won by Technetix - Adapt-X Ethernet Coax Adapter.
