Beating the tax man with eco2sensor from Powerplan

Eco2sensor PIR has won a place on the Inland Revenue's Energy Technology List which means companies specifying the system qualify for an Enhanced Capital Allowance

With its expanding portfolio of eco2 power-saving products, Powerplan is delighted to announce the launch of the eco2sensor PIR.

As part of the class-leading Ceiling-Plus flexible wiring system, eco2sensor PIR can help companies save electricity, thus saving cost as well as helping to reduce C02 emissions.

In addition, the eco2sensor PIR has won a place on the Inland Revenue's Energy Technology List which means companies specifying the system qualify for an Enhanced Capital Allowance effectively providing 100% tax relief on any investment in energy-saving equipment, in the same tax year as the purchase is made.

The eco2sensor PIR is uniquely designed to have a removable bezel which allows access to the adjustable Lux/Time/Sensitivity settings from below the ceiling tile, therefore avoiding the inconvenience of having to remove the PIR from the ceiling.

It is also has added versatility as it has multifunctional capabilities, which include PIR/LUX or LUX only or PIR only.

This is simply achieved by a side mounted selector switch.

This reduces the need for specifying more than one PIR when combining daylight and non-daylight linking schemes.

With both a 240V and 12V SELV versions, the eco2sensor PIR is one of the most versatile, energy saving, 'plug and play' PIR's available.

As a ceiling wiring system that provides pluggable solutions for lighting and power requirement, Ceiling Plus is probably the most accomplished system available in the UK.

Specifiers and users of the system benefit from reduced installation time and fewer installation errors because the system is specified, configured and tested off site and uses colour coded and simple to connect components with non-interchangeability between power and lighting components.

Use of Ceiling Plus lighting controls enables full compliance with part L2 of the Building Regulations (reduction of energy usage), and the system is designed to meet all international standards.
