A Polyflor product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 11, 2003

Commercial flooring specialists Polyflor Ltd have launched a new range of rubber stud tiles - reflecting the growing popularity of rubber flooring as a favoured choice among specifiers.

The Noppe Stud Tile has high abrasion and cigarette burn resistance, with low opacity and smoke toxicity in case of fire.

These qualities, coupled with excellent sound reduction properties and ergonomic performance, make it ideal for very heavy traffic areas such as shopping malls, rail and air concourses, shops and stores and education and healthcare premises.

Featuring a 28.5mm diameter low profile stud, the range provides a balanced selection of 12 neutral and bold, bright shades in 3mm gauge, with six colours also available in 4mm gauge.

The Noppe Stud Tile meets the general performance requirements of EN12199: 1998 and, fully tested to fire performance standard EN13501-1, is certified as Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 8kw/m and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass.

A complementary range of colour contrast stair nosing, fully compliant with building safety regulations, is also available in the Noppe Stud Tile collection, together with special oil resistant formulation tiles suitable for workshops, kitchens, machine rooms and laboratories.
