Hexham Hospital Chooses "Classic" Decoration

The flooring, in non-directionally patterned Satinwood colourway, has been fitted in reception areas, corridors and antiseptic and recovery rooms by Gateshead-based flooring contractor Northern Floorcraft, who also installed Polysafe Vogue sheet vinyl safety flooring in the hospital catering department and kitchens.

Polyflor Classic Mystique PUR, available in eight attractive shades, features a specially formulated polyurethane surface treatment which reduces maintenance costs by up to 48% by improving the soil resistance and cleanability of the floor.

Polysafe Vogue, in 12 non-directional colours, incorporates quartz crystals and aluminium and silicon carbide particles to improve traction and safety underfoot and contains Bioguard, a bacteriostat for improved hygiene protection.

Both floorcoverings meet the general performance requirements of EN649:1996, and, fully tested to fire safety standard EN 13501-1, are certified as Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 3 8kw/m2 and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass.

And, in common with all Polyflor sheet vinyls, they can be welded at the seams and to coved skirtings to create continuous, impervious surfaces offering no sanctuary to dirt and bacteria.
