Timber effect sheet vinyl flooring from Polyflor's innovative Forest FX range is featured in a new "social complex" recently completed at RAF Leuchars, near St Andrews, in Fife.

The first scheme to be completed by ESS Support Services Worldwide working in partnership with Strike Command, RAF in an initiative aimed at providing more modern dining and entertainment facilities for service personnel, the complex includes restaurants, bars, a bowling alley and relaxation areas.

American oak effect flooring from the Forest FX range was chosen by APM Design of Darwen, Lancashire, to enhance and complement the light, bright décor of "The Crossroads Diner" - known affectionately as 'Building 191' - and "The Delta Club" within the complex.

Sophisticated and highly realistic wood designs in an impressive choice of shades and textures are key features of Forest FX.

With a 0.7mm wearlayer, Forest FX has excellent durability and is ideally suited to high traffic commercial applications.

The range also features a low maintenance polyurethane reinforcement (PUR), which protects the floor and facilitates a polish-free maintenance regime.

Quick and easy to install, Polyflor Forest FX can be welded at the seams to provide a hygienic surface and is available in 14 elegant designs in 20mx2m rolls.
