Commercial flooring specialists Polyflor have launched the latest in a series of sheet vinyl safety floor innovations - Polysafe Hydro, for continually wet/barefoot areas.

"New Polysafe Hydro follows the recent introduction of easier maintenance Polysafe Corona and marks the latest step in our continuing campaign to push the frontiers of this vital sector," says Polyflor marketing manager Simon James.

With its special textured "pimple" emboss, new Polysafe Hydro is ideal for walk-in showers, indoor pool surrounds, changing rooms and hydrotherapy areas.

An attractive range of eight light, aqueous colours has been designed to co-ordinate with the Polysafe shades for a seamless transition between adjacent use areas.

Polysafe Hydro is flexible, for easy fitting, welding and site-formed coving, and provides sustained slip resistance in accordance with prEN 13845 Barefoot, the proposed new European safety standard.
