New Polysafe Hydro and Polysafe Vogue Ultra sheet vinyl safety flooring from Polyflor have been installed in showers and bathrooms at Wrightington Hospital.

New Polysafe Hydro and Polysafe Vogue Ultra sheet vinyl safety flooring - from commercial flooring specialist and Architects for Health think tank sponsor Polyflor - have been installed in showers and bathrooms in Ward 6 at Wrightington Hospital NHS Trust in Wigan, Lancashire.

Specially developed for continually wet/barefoot areas, Polysafe Hydro features a special textured "pimple" emboss which is ideal for walk-in showers, indoor pool surrounds, changing rooms and hydrotherapy areas.

Offering an attractive range of eight light, aqueous colours, the Hydro range is designed to co-ordinate with other Polysafe shades for a seamless transition between adjacent use areas.

Polysafe Hydro is flexible, for easy fitting, welding and site-formed coving, and provides sustained slip resistance in accordance with prEN 13845 Barefoot, the proposed new European safety standard.

Polysafe Vogue Ultra, installed alongside Polysafe Hydro in general shower and bathing areas by St Helens-based flooring contractor CMC Flooring, offers a choice of 12 colourways.

Both floorcoverings meet the general performance requirements of EN 649 and both, fully tested to fire safety standard EN13501-1, are certified as Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 '8kw/m' and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass.
