Heavy duty sheet vinyl flooring Polyflor 2000 PUR has been restyled to introduce an elegant new palette of bold, confident colours and appealing marbleised decoration.

Top-selling heavy duty sheet vinyl flooring Polyflor 2000 PUR - from commercial flooring specialist Polyflor - has been restyled to introduce an elegant new palette of bold, confident colours and appealing marbleised decoration "Polyflor 2000 PUR has been a consistent top performer within our marbleised collection of polish-free, low maintenance floorcoverings since its launch over 10 years ago," says Polyflor marketing manager Simon James

"The vibrant new colour palette and crisp multi-tone decoration aims to ensure that the range continues to build on its success as an attractive and cost effective choice in volume markets." Ideal for hospitals, schools, offices, shops and stores and institutional applications, Polyflor 2000 PUR now offers a range of 20 visually refreshed multi-tone shades, each featuring two base shades and two highlight tones.

The product is available in sheet and tile and in two gauges - 2mm and 2.5mm - to cater for differing traffic levels.

All performance benefits, including homogeneous monolayer construction for 100% useful life, are maintained.

Polyflor 2000 PUR features a high quality polyurethane reinforcement which, combined with a superior closed surface finish, can cut maintenance costs by up to 48% by facilitating a low cost, polish-free maintenance regime for the lifetime of the floorcovering.

The product has been independently tested and results demonstrate that it inhibits the growth of MRSA.

An effective cleaning regime is, however, the most important defence against infection.

Polyflor 2000 PUR meets the performance requirements of EN 649 and, fully tested to fire safety standard EN 13501-1, is certified as Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 cubed8kw/m2 and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass In common with all Polyflor sheet vinyl floorcoverings, Polyflor 2000 PUR can be welded at the seams and to coved skirtings to create continuous, impervious surfaces which offer no sanctuary to dirt and bacteria.
