Dramatic debut for new Corona
Corona sheet vinyl safety flooring from Polyflor has been installed in the drama studio and theatre at Withins High School in Bolton, Lancashire.
"Polysafe Corona is not only slip resistant - a vital benefit - but is also easy to clean and attractive to look at".
Combining the latest advanced performance and maintenance technology with a superbly fresh colour palette, Polysafe Corona incorporates Supratec+, the second generation of Polyflor's unique soil releasing polymer system, now including polyurethane for reduced dirt pick up, even easier maintenance and cleaning cost savings of up to 60%.
Polysafe Corona has been independently tested and results demonstrate that it inhibits the growth of MRSA.
An effective cleaning regime is, however, the most important defence against infection.
The range also features a new advanced formulation, providing enhanced flexibility for even easier fitting and welding, plus sustainable slip resistance for the guaranteed life of the product, achieving 36 on the RRL Pendulum wet test (Four-S rubber).
This, combined with a surface roughness of Rtm 20um, ensures that Corona complies with Health and Safety Executive guidance and with EN 13845, the European Norm for Safety Flooring.
The practical appeal of the range is matched by its aesthetic appearance - a superb choice of 12 fresh, vivid colours, carefully chosen to complement shades available in Polyflor's heavy duty smooth range of commercial floor coverings, thus enabling architects and designers to co-ordinate and contrast colours in different use areas.
