Polyflor Mystique PUR heavy duty sheet vinyl and Polysafe Vogue Ultra sheet vinyl safety flooring have been specified for a variety of Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) healthcare projects.

Thousands of square metres of low maintenance Polyflor Mystique PUR heavy duty sheet vinyl and Polysafe Vogue Ultra sheet vinyl safety flooring - from commercial flooring specialists and Architects for Health think tank sponsors Polyflor - have been specified for a variety of Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) healthcare projects in Leeds and Barnsley The LIFT partnerships schemes are designed to develop integrated and coherent primary and community based healthcare facilities throughout both regions

At Armley Moor Health Centre in Leeds, Polyflor Mystique PUR in various colours has been installed by local flooring contractor Phoenix Floors in reception areas, treatment rooms, operating theatres and corridors.

Polysafe Vogue Ultra is installed in bathrooms and toilets.

Both products have been independently tested and results demonstrate that they inhibit the growth of MRSA.

An effective cleaning regime is, however, the most important defence against infection.

Non-directionally patterned Polyflor Mystique PUR is available in 16 bright modern colourways and features a high quality polyurethane reinforcement which, combined with a superior closed surface finish, facilitates a low cost, polish-free maintenance regime for the lifetime of the floorcovering, providing savings of up to 48% compared with untreated vinyl floorcoverings.

Polysafe Vogue Ultra, in 12 colours, adheres fully to HSE Guidelines and provides sustained slip resistance performance throughout its guaranteed life.

Both floorcoverings meet the performance requirements of EN 649 and, fully tested to fire safety standard EN 13501-1, are certified as Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 3 8kw/m2 and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass.

In common with all Polyflor sheet vinyls, they can be welded at the seams and to coved skirtings to create continuous impervious surfaces which offer no sanctuary to dirt and bacteria.
