Polysafe Ultima solution for hospital
kitchens
Polysafe Ultima, an extra tough sheet vinyl safety flooring from Polyflor, has been installed in the kitchens at Wrightington Hospital in Wigan.
Specially developed for such intensely trafficked heavy-duty areas where enhanced slip resistance is paramount and a number of meals are served per day, Polysafe Ultima meets HSE guidelines by achieving a sustainable 40 slip resistance (RRL Pendulum wet test - Four-S/Slider 96 rubber) Ultima also achieves a surface roughness reading of Rz 70um, recommended to cope safely with all levels of spillage of olive oil, cooking stock and similar high viscosity contaminants in kitchens and food processing areas
