It's one of the largest and most dramatic new developments in London and the BBC Media Village at White City has the design gems to match.
Promat UK opened the headquarters at The Sterling Centre, Eastern Road on 14 November with over 100 guests, housed in two marquees.
The ceremony was attended by Cllr Alan Browne, deputy mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest, Promat UK managing director John Stevenson and Axel vom Scheidt, chief executive of parent Promat International.
"Today underlines our firm commitment to growing our UK business, and to supporting our customers at a level that would be expected from the leading company in passive fire protection," said Mr vom Scheidt.
"Thank you John and every one else for working so hard for the past year." Promat UK was created in 2002 after it took over the top brands and some assets from a former rival.
It has factories in Blackburn and Glasgow.
Promat UK re-located its head office to Bracknell from Uxbridge.
There are 30 staff at the Sterling Centre, which is also a base for a similarly-sized sales team.
As well as housing Promat UK's executives and administration, the office includes large technical support, customer service, export and sales teams.
The building was extensively remodelled: it comprises offices, warehousing and a training centre and the fit-out was completed just in time for the opening.
Senior figures from the fire protection industry and Promat staff from the UK and overseas were also present at the ceremony.
Mr Stevenson thanked all the staff for their hard work and for making the day a success.
