Polypipe Terrain focus on specification
support
Polypipe Terrain has expanded the team dedicated to raising the level of specification support it provides to customers in London and the Home Counties region.
Phil Henry and Wendell Baker have been appointed as Specification Managers and will now work to help more MandE consultants, engineers and architects join the growing move toward the use of plastic piping for drainage, heating and ventilation applications "These are key appointments for Polypipe Terrain," says the company's Sales and Marketing Director, Adam Turk

Much of the team's efforts are focused on the specification of Polypipe Terrain products for major construction projects.
"Polypipe Terrain already has excellent relationships with many of the key players involved with this type of project," adds Adam.
"Phil and Wendell are now able to help us develop those relationships further and provide detailed technical support over the lengthy specification periods that are typically involved".
The two men bring a considerable amount of construction sector experience to the new specification team.
Having first trained as a mechanical engineer and then worked as a draughtsman, Phil Henry now has over 20 years technical sales experience of the plastic plumbing and drainage sector.
He has also worked both in the UK and Europe in various contract design, product development and tendering roles and moves from his previous position as a Product Manager within the Polypipe organisation.
Wendell Baker joins Polypipe Terrain with a similarly impressive background of drainage and building products experience, gained in a variety of specification and management roles.
He has also been involved in both the merchant and manufacturing arenas at a senior level.
