ProgeSOFT North America donates ProgeCAD software to Getty Conservation Institute.

ProgeSOFT North America, in cooperation with ProgeSOFT s.a.s., Como, Italy, is coordinating the donation of ProgeCAD 2007 Professional CAD software to the Getty Conservation Institute, in Los Angeles, CA, USA The Getty Conservation Institute works internationally to advance the field of conservation through scientific research, field projects, education and training, and the dissemination of information in various media

Advancing conservation practice is the organizing principle for all of the Institute's work - which includes identifying activities that improve the way conservation treatments are carried out, pursuing research that expands conservation knowledge, and increasing access to information on conservation subjects.

ProgeCAD 2007 Professional, the latest IntelliCAD software from ProgeSOFT, includes a library manager for discipline specific symbols, ACIS solid modeling, raster image support, rendering, and a unique set of tools that only ProgeSOFT offers.

ProgeCAD software supports the AutoCAD DWG design file format, from version 2.5 through 2007, plus support for AutoCAD menus, scripts, blocks, and AutoLISP.

Public and private schools, colleges, technical schools, etc.may apply for free educational copies of ProgeCAD 2007 Professional for their classrooms at the website.

Since its inception, the progeSOFT North America "Free for Schools" program has donated to over 100 schools, colleges, and technical institutions in North America.
