Preverco, a leading manufacturer of high-end, Canadian hardwood flooring, announces the development of its PreLoc Series of self-locking engineered flooring.

Preverco's PreLoc Series allows for rapid installation with self-locking joint technology patented by Swedish partner Valinge Innovation Including all of the distinctive characteristics of the company's Engenius Series of engineered hardwood, the PreLoc Series offers sturdy construction and is a responsible use of hardwood, helping to conserve natural resources

Preverco's PreLoc engineered flooring is ideal for installation on many surfaces, such as concrete, concrete with radiant heating systems, O.S.B., plywood and a variety of acoustical membranes.

The flooring is floated, which makes it perfect for both home and condominium applications.

With no nails, staples or glue required, the flooring can be easily taken apart and reinstalled if necessary.

The cost-effective installation qualities of the PreLoc Series are complimented by a finished product that has all the look and appeal of traditional hardwood flooring.

The flooring has a distinctive anchoring system on all sides of the hardwood strips, and the self-locking ends use integrated plastic tabs for improved stability.

Value and appearance are further enhanced with precision cuts and random strip lengths, which prevent the creation of a pattern effect.

Using customized manufacturing equipment designed by Valinge, Preverco can modify the size of the locking strip to fit different widths ranging from the standard 3 1/4 inch to the wider 7 inch planks.

Preverco's PreLoc Series has a unique 1/8 inch sawn wear layer with a 3/8 inch - 7 hardwood plywood, which is perfect for various climates, including: warm and dry environments, damp conditions, and changing temperatures and humidity levels.

While many hardwoods tend to shrink or expand in ever changing conditions, Preverco's PreLoc Series is built to withstand those temperature variations - offering dimensional stability.
