Stormsaver's domestic rainwater harvesting system

A Stormsaver product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jan 22, 2010

Stormsaver introduces the Monsoon rainwater harvesting for low energy domestic installations.

The low energy consumption systems are designed specifically for residential installations.

Monsoon uses 90 per cent less energy than some other rainwater harvesting systems.

Systems are available from GBP1,500.

They meet the most stringent regulations, such as British Standard BS8515:2009, Part G of the building regulations and WRAS guidelines.

The Monsoon system has been designed for installation into either a single property or larger development either at new build stage or retro-fitted as part of a renovation project.

The system can provide filtered rainwater for internal uses, such as laundry and toilet flushing, as well as outside uses like garden watering and vehicle washing.

The Monsoon system incorporates Stormsaver's range of technologically advanced membrane pumps which operate on 90 watts.

The Monsoon system offers additional environmental credentials to lower power consumption and CO2 emissions.

Solar or wind fuelled power supplies can be connected to the system, reducing operating costs further.

Stormsaver introduced Monsoon late last year and has already sold more than 30 systems to property developers, building companies and self-build customers, without actively promoting the product.
