Pump Industry Awards give the perfect opportunity to benefit from some excellent media coverage, simply by entering your top products, people or achievements into this year's programme.
"Money raised will go towards WaterAid's vital work to help poor communities establish sustainable water supplies such as handpumps and latrines, close to home, for example, £223 could buy one rope pump plus its installation costs to serve 100 households in Madagascar".
Donating a birthday gift will help WaterAid provide the gift of water to some of the poorest communities in the developing world.
From humble beginnings, WaterAid has become a formidable force in the struggle to ensure that, in this new millennium of development and technology, the world's poorest are not left without the most basic of requirements - water and sanitation.
It has already helped over nine million people take their first step out of poverty bringing health, dignity and the time to go to work or school, and with continued support, WaterAid soon hopes to be providing one million people with these life saving essentials every year.
There are 3 easy ways to donate a birthday gift: 1.
Donate a raffle prize for the 'Grand Charity Raffle' 2.
Donate an auction prize 3.
Make a monetary donation to WaterAid Companies supporting this charity event will be profiled on the night itself and further media coverage will be provided through the pages of World Pumps, BSEE and selected Connecting Industry titles, through the BPMA, World Pumps and the WaterAid newsletters and on www.pumpindustryawards.com, www.bpma.org.uk, www.wateraid.org and www.connectingindustry.com .
WaterAid is very grateful for the support it receives from across the pump industry, which enable it to help some of the world's poorest communities gain access to safe water, adequate sanitation and hygiene education.
