PVC-U recycled products on show at Ecobuild

A PVC Recycling product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 12, 2010

Sustainable building products made from 100 per cent recycled PVC-U diverted from landfill are being showcased by PVC Recycling at Ecobuild.

The company will be displaying its products on the Envirolink NW Stand 1275 at Ecobuild 2010.

The PVC-U recycling company has invested nearly GBP1 million in specialist technology to process post-consumer PVC-U window and door frames into chip or melt-filtrated pellet, to a high quality fit for reuse into manufacturing true green products.

Supported by Envirolink Northwest, WRAP and Recovinyl, PVC Recycling is actively developing new markets for the material, which would otherwise be landfilled.

Specifiers can access manufacturers using its quality recycled materials via the website and be assured of the genuine eco-friendly credentials of new items such as fencing, gate posts, pipes, rainwater goods and windows.
