Leeds-based lighting manufacturer Powerlite has added to its extensive range with the addition of Powerguard, a security light fitted with a passive infra-red (PIR) detector.
With a switch-on period adjustable from 10 seconds to 15 minutes, and a 12m/120 degree detection zone, the Powerguard is a true all-rounder, capable of meeting the differing demands of commercial, industrial and domestic customers Housed in a sturdy die-cast housing which can take everything the British weather has to offer, the Powerguard can accept 200 to 500W double-ended tungsten R7s halogen lamps and has an adjustable light level of between two and 2000 lux (this allows the user to adjust the level of daylight below which the unit becomes operational)
