Internet start up, QuoteMeFor has recently launched it's new online quoting portal for home owners and the trade profession.

Internet start up, QuoteMeFor has recently launched it's new online quoting portal for home owners and the trade profession.

The website is designed to ease the process of requesting a quote or estimate, whether it's for a gardener or large scale building work.

The jobs are split into geographical area so that a plasterer in Birmingham for example can quickly browse jobs that are applicable to him or his firm.

Once he has found a job he is interested he can contact the requestor via the web interface and submit his quote.

Laura Jeavons, managing Director said of the new site, "By posting their request on line the user doesn't have to spend hours chasing around individual tradesmen for quotes".

"Also, they get access to scores of quotes rather than 2 or 3 which ultimately should mean they get a better deal".

"The tradesmen benefit by having a site they can go to and pick up leads for people wanting their services".

"It's a win win situation all round".

It's currently free to register and post/respond to quotes.
