Rainbow have added two new models to their range of grass pavers.
These are: * Grassington: An extremely strong German-designed paver suited to the toughest applications.
The design makes best use of the material and therefore remains economical.
* Equestrapave: This is a more decorative grass paver and is of a softer construction making it appropriate for equestrian applications.
A major function of any Grass Paver is to ably support healthy grass growth which has been very carefully designed into the RAINBOW range.
Firstly the paver itself has to have a minimum of 3.2cm available height to allow the grass sufficient height to grow.
Secondly, the paver needs to be designed to accept the thermal expansion of the plastic without lifting at the joints.
Without this feature on warm days the paver will lift at the joints allowing earth to slip underneath preventing it from going back level and killing the grass in the process.
A further benefit of our EQUESTRAPAVE and BRONTE PLUS designs is that they have integral water collection points for improved irrigation for the grass.
Rainbow has a strict environmental policy therefore all our Pavers are manufactured in 100% recycled Polyethylene.
The Paver Designers carefully created this range to offer the maximum strength but using the minimum of material.
This range has been used across Europe since 1996 with the Grass Pavers showing no signs of early failure and expected to have a life long usage.
Grass Pavers in our material have been in use since 1975 in high UV areas and are still performing to their designed expectancies.
The lightweight designs help in getting our pavers to site and for handling during installation.
All our designs are simple to click together and can be laid at a rate of 60 sq meters per hour per man.
