Bournemouth councils beach access problem solved using Rampsols ramp and a clever beach matting.

Bournemouth councils beach access headache cure by local ramp building company Romsey based Ramp Access Solutions (Rampsol) were recently called in at the last minute to help Bournemouth Council solve the problem of access to the sea for both wheelchair and pushchair users to two locations on their seafront

Wanting to comply to recent legislation laid down by the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), Bournemouth Council employed Rampsol to design and install ramps at Boscombe Pier and Durley Chine.

The location itself caused many problems which Rampsols technical advisors and Bournemouths beach workers overcame and the ramps were successfully installed ahead of schedule a week before the Bank Holiday weekend.

You can now get to the sea using Rampsols ramp and a clever beach matting.

With the recently introduced DDA all companies or places of public access "have had to make reasonable adjustments to the physical features of their premises to overcome physical barriers for disabled users"(www.drc.org.uk), this is where Rampsol can help you.

We design and build all of our ramps bespoke to you, whether it's big or small we can help.

To save a hefty fine, why not pick up the phone or contact us via e-mail and we will arrange to visit your site and work toward a solution.

Rampsols list of problems solved includes: East Midlands Police, Stanmore College Middlesex, North Yorkshire, Poole, Staffordshire and now Bournemouth Council and many more.
