Micro Van and GatorCam is set to revolutionise drainage inspection incorporating a camera system into a novel mobile solution.

The Micro Van, from M W Power Systems, combines CCTV and Jetting to offer a drainage inspection and clearance capability from a small, easy to manoeuvre van that can be worked by a single operator The GatorCam and CCTV camera system makes it easy to demonstrate blockage and pipe clearance on site

The system on board Micro Van incorporates a monitor, VCR and control.

Cables consist of a 60m rod and a 30m link, and the colour camera is self levelling to ensure the picture view is always the correct orientation.

The Micro Van itself also features a high pressure pump capable of generating jetting pressure to 3000 psi at 8gpm, with an optional PC system to produce hard copy images and reports for surveyors on-site.

Micro Van is designed for commercial and domestic applications including pre-sales drainage surveys, insurance inspections, drainage call outs, clearing of fat traps and toilet blockages, clearing of blockages in up to 6" sewers, cleaning of car park gullies and block paving, chimney inspections, inspections under floor or in restricted areas.

With additional equipment the system can also be used to power a root cutter.

The ergonomic design and space conscious layout of Micro Van is already proving a hit with water companies, government inspection, municipal, surveying and transportation authorities.

M W Power Systems is delighted to be associated with Radiodetection and believes this system is of benefit to any fleet operator who wants to see their engineers spend more time dealing with incidents on site for greater efficiency.
