Energy saving heating by Electric Heating Company

An Electric Heating Company product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 1, 2009

The Electric Heating Company has launched a new generation of electric water heaters which deliver instant hot water and impressive energy savings.

There are five heaters in the range...

- Twister; provides hot water for over the sink applications.

- Amicus; an electric under sink appliance and is ideal for properties with minimal hot water requirements.

- Opus; versatile electric shower with reliable, fully controllable water temperature and flow.

- Luna; has its own water tank and is the perfect choice for sinks, showers and washbasins in kitchens, bathrooms and business premises - Electronic Bonus; 12kW Bonus providing hot water solutions for sinks and showers, or both at the same time.

It can also be combined with both solar powered and heat pump systems to dispense pre-heated water.

Each heater switches on automatically when the tap is turned on so hot water is provided straight away.

Because energy is only consumed while the water is running there are no losses from heat storage.

And because each product is smaller than traditional hot water units, and more aesthetically pleasing, they can be located closer to where hot water is needed.

The five water heaters have been designed with state-of-the-art technology.

Director David Lee comments: "The range offers an easy to install, energy efficient alternative to gas heaters".

"Energy and heat can be lost when hot water is stored, distributed and used".

"Because the units are close to the point of use heat loss is minimal and the user gets hot water on demand".

"Installing the products could give energy savings of up to 50 per cent and significant cost savings on fuel bills".
