Three pillars of energy efficiency form the basis of the solutions and design support which REHAU offers to architects, builders, contractors and developers.

The first is to reduce energy losses by maximising the thermal efficiency of the school building fabric with PVC-U windows and composite curtain walling systems with Uw-Value of just 0.8W/m2K.

The second is to distribute energy efficiently using water based surface heating and cooling solutions including underfloor heating, wall and ceiling heating and concrete core tempering.

And the third is to generate heat efficiently both by combining these heating and cooling systems with ground source energy solutions and heat pumps and utilising the REHAU AWADUKT Thermo ground – air heat exchanger to deliver a low carbon cooling solution.
