REHAU CEO transfers to Supervisory Board

Rainer Schulz takes over from CEO Wolfgang Faber, who transfers to the Supervisory Board of the REHAU Group.

CEO Wolfgang Faber is being appointed to the Supervisory Board of the REHAU Group following nearly 40 years with the company.

Mr Faber joined REHAU as Assistant to the Personnel Division Manager in 1971, and became CEO of the Group Executive Board at the beginning of 2007.

Wolfgang Faber has helped shape the progress of REHAU, a family business with headquarters in Rehau, Bavaria, fostering continuous growth at international level.

In difficult economic periods he always proved himself to be assertive and never afraid to take decisions.

Wolfgang Faber handed over his job to his successor, Rainer Schulz, with effect from 1 April 2010.

The new CEO and former Deputy CEO Rainer Schulz has been with the company since 2001, holding the position of a COO with responsibility for the Group's operative business.

Furthermore, he represented a business division in dual role within the Board of Directors.

At 45 years old, he intends continuing along the challenging path he has set himself.

One of his aims is to maintain and further develop the extraordinary innovative ability of the company that is the crucial element of corporate culture and company success.
